Meet Lisa

In my life, I value the relationships I have with my family and friends. My most favorite times are those spent with loved ones. I have a close circle of girlfriends who have grown to feel more like my sisters.

I was raised in a suburb on Long Island in New York. I am the oldest of two and my sister and I are very close.  I am also very close with my parents and stay connected even though we live on opposite coasts.  We talk on the phone often and see each other twice a year-- whether it’s a visit here or we go there.   Occasionally one of the visits is at Christmas and I can remember the care my mom would take in decorating and baking.   When I was old enough I would help my mom with baking all the holiday cookies.  I am now bringing these traditions into our home for my own children!

I work for a non-profit as the program and marketing manager, working about 20 hours a week, mostly from home.  On the days I am not working, I thoroughly enjoy going with Allyson to art or music classes or visiting our friends and their children.  Sometimes just the two of us go to the park or stay home and play. 

I absolutely adore being a mom and am looking forward to sharing my heart with another child!
